Marcy has twenty-five years of experience in both the legal and commercial issues associated with technology and e-commerce transactions. Marcy's experience spans and includes more than eleven years of experience working in-house to major an international financial services companies, as well as in-house experience for a major hardware company and two Silicon Valley companies. Prior to becoming an attorney, Marcy was a computer programmer, statistical analyst, technical writer and consultant.

Marcy's prior accomplishments include:

• Editor: A Survival Guide to Computer Contracts, Application Publishing, 1996.
• Published in the October 1985 issue of The Communications Law Journal.
• Lecturer on software contracts negotiation at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York
• B.A. degree in psychology from Swarthmore College in 1979
• Juris Doctorem from Rutgers University School of Law (Camden) in 1985
